Here’s my list 10 books that have stayed with me in some way, changed me, and helped me create The Big Life …

#1. Psycho Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz

The first personal growth book I ever read and taught me the power of self image… and also introduced me to creative visualization. After using the exercises in my sales job my income immediately went up… selling became easy. Best of all, this book triggered a massive change of direction in my life – since then I’ve taught over 250,000+ people how to visualize and have worked in the personal growth world for years.

#2. The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle

Read this when I was depressed, and got instantly enlightened… for all of about 3 hours. But what a glorious 3 hours it was!! What stayed with me was that our thinking creates all our problems, stresses and depression. And when we let go and focus on the present moment, life is GOOD. No need to stress, baby

#3. The 4 Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss

Read this when I was in my “dream” advertising job in London – basically my job was to take girls on lunch dates with unlimited expense – but I was still depressed. Ferris made me realise that we can divorce our income from hours worked, and create “muse” businesses based on our passions. Quit my job the very next day… set up a series of muses… and haven’t had a “proper job” since. Totally changed the direction of my life. Now I truly *get* that money can flow to you from a million directions… and it’s easier when you do work you love.

#4. The Way of The Superior Man by David Deida

Powerful lessons on being a “superior” (read: badass) man and live with purpose, passion and love. I use this book as my go-to roadmap to make sure I’m on my path and having the best relationship with Rebecca possible… it’s filled with epic advice for dealing with women and the male / female energy polarities too. One I’ll be studying for the rest of my life…

#5. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

Helped me discover that all riches (in every sense of the word) are created in the human mind. This is my success bible which I study almost constantly… and as Bob Proctor told me when I interviewed him, he’s 80 and still carries his copy around – it’s that densely packed with wisdom. A must read for students of success.

#6. I Can Make You Rich by Paul McKenna

Great book filled with NLP trickery which helped me overcome a lot of self-imposed limiting beliefs around money. Awesome for feeling richer – and more grateful for life – now. (And his approach makes it easier to create more wealth in all areas of life too.)

#7. Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling

Something magical about this world that keeps me coming back for more. A great escape from reality. My friends mock me relentlessly because with my specs on I resemble Harry a little too much for comfort!

#8. The Alchemist by Paolo Coelho

Beautiful story which taught me the power of following our dreams, no matter what… and that everything is connected, and synchronicity is the way of the universe. Just know what you want, follow the signs, and if you get caught up in a job polishing glass and serving tea, know it’s part of the journey and the opportunities for progression will come when the time’s right.

#9. Decoded by JAY Z

A glimpse inside a badass dude’s mind; lyrics and approach to life. Love this man… and his brain. Plus it’s filled with pretty pictures

#10. Illusions by Richard Bach

Powerful little book filled with sage insights on how we can live with more passion, love, joy and purpose. Deeply spiritual, insightful and fun. Well worth a read.
